Mia Young
Mia has been involved in private client work within the legal profession for more than 25 years.
Whilst a considerable proportion of her time is still spent on the administration of the estates of deceased persons, Mia has, in recent years, become increasingly involved in work concerning the financial affairs of the elderly and mentally incapable with particular reference to resolving the problems that can arise in making appropriate arrangements for long-term care and maintenance. In this connection, Mia has extensive experience in the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to The Court of Protection for the registration of Enduring or Lasting Powers of Attorney and, where necessary, the appointment of a Deputy to manage the financial affairs of a mentally incapable person.
Mia has a deservedly excellent reputation among local healthcare professionals for her thorough understanding of the unique difficulties encountered by those who care for elderly relatives and her clients much appreciate her sympathetic and straightforward approach during periods of extreme distress and uncertainty for them and their families.
